  1. CSV data summaries in Airlock

    When viewing a CSV file in a workspace or release request, users can now view a table with some summary information about each column in the table.   2. Context added to dummy data generation for several tables in ehrQL

    ehrQL’s dummy data generator has been updated to be more context-aware.

  3. Commenting on specific files in Airlock

    Users can now make comments on release requests in Airlock from individual file views. Comments made from a file view are annotated with a link to the file.

  4. You can apply to do non-COVID research, from today!

    We are delighted to announce that - from today - you can submit applications to the OpenSAFELY service for non-COVID-19 studies.

  5. Improved table_from_file feature in ehrQL

    table_from_file allows you to define a table from a tabular file containing patient data, and use that table in your dataset definition as if it was a standard ehrQL table.

  6. Truncated viewing of log files

    We have updated how Airlock displays job logs. Users now see only the last 10kb of each log, typically a few hundred lines, rather than the full file.

  7. NHS PCD refsets and NHS drug refsets updated in OpenCodelists

    We have recently imported the latest NHS PCD refsets and the latest NHS drug refsets into OpenCodelists.

  8. Link between vaccine name and target disease now available

    A new report is now available which shows all possible pairs of vaccine name and target disease from the TPP database vaccination reference table.

  9. OpenCodelists supports CSVs with header rows when creating codelists from CSVs

    On OpenCodelists an option is now available to select whether or not the CSV has a header row.

  10. OpenCodelists now supports cloning codelists

    OpenCodelists now allows you to clone codelists that are owned by an organisation, another user, or even yourself. This allows users to make a more up-to-date version of a pre-existing codelist, or use another codelist as a basis for a new codelist. More details are at the documentation link below.
