OpenSAFELY CLI v2.1.5 released to address CA certificate vulnerability

Posted:

We have released OpenSAFELY CLI v2.1.5 to address certificate-related security issues following the eMudhra Intermediate CA compromise.

We strongly recommend that all OpenSAFELY CLI users update to the latest version as soon as possible. Users should also ensure that related tools, including pip (the Python package installer), are up to date.

Update the OpenSAFELY CLI by running: opensafely upgrade in your project folder. You can check what version you are running using the command: opensafely --version

For more information about the compromise, recommended actions, and commands to update other affected components, visit the eMudhra Intermediate CA Compromise guidance.
