Data Access Agreement (DAA)
As part of the ‘OpenSAFELY Approved User’ application process, applicants are required to read and sign the OpenSAFELY Data Access Agreement (DAA). By doing so, they confirm that they will use data in accordance with the OpenSAFELY Policies.
The DAA contains links to various Policies, which should be read to fully understand the obligations being accepted when signing the Agreement.
Once the DAA has been signed, a copy should be retained by the signatory for their own reference. A signed copy returned to the OpenSAFELY Administrator is retained on record. From time to time, Users may be required to sign a new DAA; if this is necessary, the Administrator will contact a User directly.
