Abstract

Quantifying the waning effectiveness of second COVID-19 vaccination beyond six months and against the omicron variant is important for scheduling subsequent doses.

With the approval of NHS England, we estimated effectiveness up to one year after second dose, but found that bias in such estimates may be substantial.
